Quick planning commission meeting sees alcohol permit passed

The Banks County Planning Commission held a meeting April 5th in the Courthouse Annex.

The meeting was very short as it consisted of one motion.

Planning Commission Member Taylor Griffith said, “I believe that was a record.” with regard how quick it was.

Gabby Flores was present on behalf of the restaurant. El Jalapeño had applied for permission to sell alcohol like spirits, wines, and distilled spirits.

All members approved the motion to recommend it to the Board of Commissioners and it passed.
