Arrest made in connection with missing person case

PRESS RELEASE — February 12, 2025— Banks County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jason Campbell, 34, in connection with the disappearance of his mother, Marie Campbell, who was reported missing on January 6, 2025. Campbell is charged with concealing the death of a person.

“This meticulous investigation, which is being conducted by our investigators and forensic unit, is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available,” stated Sheriff Carlton Speed.
