BANKS COUNTY, Ga. – The precincts for Banks County are reporting 100% in.

For Mayor – Baldwin, Alice Venter won the seat over her opponent, Douglas S. Faust.

For Council Member – Post 4 – Baldwin, Joe Elam won with over 70% of the vote.

Cliff Hill was voted for mayor of Homer over his opponent, Sandra Garrison.

Council Member Dist 1 Post 2 in Homer, Debbie Massey won the seat with nearly 60% of the vote.

And in the race of Special County Commission – Dist 4, where five candidates were running for the same seat, Keith Roberts won the seat with 46.6% of the vote.

The other seats that were up for reelection were won by candidates running unopposed.

Banks County residents also voted yes on Continuation of 1% Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for Education Purposes and Floating Local Option Sales Tax.
